Peace is one of the top priorities of any community. It is undoubtedly a prerequisite for development. 

Its neighboring countries see Cameroon as a bastion of stability and peace but the current state of the Nation cannot uphold that view as Cameroon has seen the tragic deterioration of its security, social, and economic context over the last ten years. 

Despite the importance of peace in a community, the North West and South West regions of Cameroon have been plagued by violence since the start of the Anglophone crisis in 2016. Part of these problems can be attributed to the spread of violent extremism both online and offline. 

NADEV, being a strong advocate for peace has jointly carried out campaigns to foster peace together with her partners and sponsors since the crisis started in the North and South West Region of Cameroon.

With activities such as;

• Vocational training was created to improve the livelihood opportunities for vulnerable youths, women, and survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and internally displaced persons. 
• Mechanisms were put in place for early warning responses to conflict resolution in communication. 
• Young people and women leaders are encouraged to collectively champion peace initiatives through skills acquired from our peace-building workshops.
